Neil Murray is an Intermediate consultant at Data Perceptions Inc. bringing eight years of IT experience to the team. Joining the Data Perceptions consulting team in 2000, Neil brought experience in client relations and customer service, project management, 3rd level technical support, designing corporate desktop images and roll out plans, and network administration. Neil was instrumental in revamping and improving the technical support process at a local manufacturing firm with 800+ network users. Neil enjoys helping Data Perceptions’ clients create strategies to protect themselves against data threats with technologies such as Anti-Virus solutions, firewalls, and disaster recovery strategies.

Off hours, Neil relaxes by getting involved with several different community theatre groups. Bitten by the acting bug in university, Neil still takes to the stage several times a year and has even jumped into directing a couple of shows. If he’s not on stage, there’s a good chance he’s somewhere in the middle of Algonquin Park in a canoe with his wife and dog, feeling somewhat disconnected with a Mag light and hatchet on his belt instead of a cell phone and BlackBerry.
